BAGYONG KABAYAN UPDATE (JULY 30, 2011)

At 2:00 a.m. today, July 30, 2011, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration office, tropical Storm “KABAYAN” was estimated based on satellite images and surface data at 870 kilometers East Northeast of Virac, Catanduanes (15.0°N 133.0°E) with maximum sustained winds of 85 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 100 kilometers per hour. It is forecast to move North at 17 kilometers per hour.
